Why is Ethical Hacking gaining so much popularity across the world

Ahhh! You must have watched one of those movies where a witty guy breaks into a server and extracts the most vulnerable information with just some clicks and code and we say system is hacked! Ofcourse, it is not as easy as it appears and breaking into any system without permission is illegal but what if I tell you large tech giants may pay you good enough for breaching in!

What is Ethical Hacking

Break the stereotypes that Hackers are conventionally bad guys who run after a system to create misery and havoc. Ethical Hacking can be understood as breaching in the system using its vulnerability with the permission of the system owner.

Ethical Hacking helps in improving the vulnerabilities of the system by stating the weak areas of the server and suggesting the ways to improve it. So, Ethical Hackers are good guys who can help you find some major bugs in the server and append it to make the server even stronger.

 Types of Hackers

Black Hat Hacker

Black hat hackers are the bad guys who breach, break into the system without consent or permission for fulfilment of their personal malicious intent. They do not follow any code of ethics. Black hat hacking isn't an legitimate activity as it involves various violation of cyber laws.

Domino's India data breached

Black hat hackers are associated with major cyber attacks which may be threat to one's financial data like bank account details and personal data. Recently Domino's,a Pizza delivery American restaurant became a victim of illegal data hacking and data of 180 Millions order got leaked which included phone numer, address, name and other details of customers.

White Hat Hacker

White hat hackers are the good guys who search for vulnerability in a system or server and give suggestive measures to improve bugs. They are often called as Ethical Hackers. Major tech giants like Facebook and Google arrange a competitive bug finding evet where Ethical Hackers from world wide can take part ande
earn rewards starting from $10,000 and above.

Grey Hat Hacker

Here is another category which is neither as malicious as Black hat Hacker nor upto the standards of Ethical Hacker. This lies somewhere between, a White hat Hacker is an individual who might break some laws and may not follow the ethnicity code but doesn't serve the malicious intent as that of Black hat Hacker.

Grey Hat Hackers have been known to be associated with FBI for several cases investigation although it is not legal to practice Grey Hat hacking. Once Apple Inc. denied FBI the access of a shooter's phone due its consumer friendly policy but a grey hat hacker helped FBI gaining the vulnerable information.

Significance of Ethical Hacking

With the emerging era of globalisation and advancement in technology various threats, malware and bugs have also evolved over the passage of time, so it becomes very essential for the user to become aware of the possible threats and attack to privacy in order to build a responsive counter defence system.

Ethical Hacking is now a certified course in many institutions

Diversity in India

Enriching Diversity of India What's the first thing which strikes your mind when you first hear the word India ? Or a slogan Jai Hind or Vande Matram ? this was the first question which came to my mind before writing this post. I am sure each one of us would be having a unique sensation and feeling about our beloved nation, for some it might be Saffron coloured sacrifice of our freedom fighters, for some it may be the Green colored Natural beauty and others might find it in the White peace our nation has carried all over the world for such a long period of time. Yet there are further more ways in which our nation can be glorified. This is what is meant by the term diversity, a state of being unique or varied as our opinions are diversity. As you might have got a glimpse of what diversity is i.e, it is a state of being varied like if we just step outside our home just a bit we will find people having different occupations belonging to different places like one might be from Naga...

Why is it important to have "WHY"?

Hey Mitra, did you smile today? If not then, let me give you a reason to: You are the chosen one to live this beautiful life, once and for all! Ahh, hope that worked, Let's start our talk. Why?  An illustration  If I go on telling you that "Why" is such a magnificent word which can turn the "impossible" into "I'm possible". Would you believe me? Maybe not, so let me illustrate to you a scenario to keep my point in a  clear manner.  Imagine yourself sitting on your couch, watching Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and you suddenly start to crave for your favourite samosa as the Zomato ad pops us in the break. You just think of going to  Ratan's Samosa Shop which is just 100m away from your home.  But it's raining heavily outside. Would you step outside and get some samosas or continue watching TV (cursing Zomato )? When asked to a group of students, 97% of them agreed to stay at home while the remaining were hardcore samosa lovers. Now imagine...
