An Ironic Task

Hey Mitra! How did your day go? Mine was quite shocking. Why? Let's start our talk...

An Ironic Task

While me and my sister were trying to write a script, suddenly the idea of writing it in Hindi struck our minds and why not, after all, it's our mother tongue, right?

My sister started to speak while I jotted it down. She spoke efficiently; I interrupted and told her that the language she was speaking in, wasn't Hindi but Hinglish actually, as she still used some words from English. So now the task was to speak in Hindi entirely for 5 min and astonishingly she couldn't complete 2 min. The table turned down to me and I failed at this task terribly as well. How many minutes can you speak entirely in Hindi as a native speaker?

Languages Family Tree

I had been shaken by what had just happened, the language to which we proudly proclaimed to be our mother language was slipping from our tongues! We had forgotten the meaning of certain words as well. Hindi, without which it was nearly impossible for us to see the sun of the independent India had now been overthrown by the English supremacy? We went to repeat this task on our other family members and the result didn't differ much, none of us could satisfactorily complete the given task. Aren't we just losing our Namaste for general hii and hello?

This task made me think of future India about 100 years from now, where Hindi might just remain to be a language of the past (like Sanskrit today) and suddenly time traveler within me had just become dead!

The Strange Responses

After performing the above-mentioned task, most of the people understood the gravity of the situation while some strange questions too rose like :

Why do we need to speak something in Hindi when we have English?

Isn't English already playing so well? Why to go for an outdated language?

The problem with these questions lies in their basic premise which sees English as some extremely superior language over Hindi and associating a fake sense of coolness while speaking English. In other words," Agr mn English bolta hu toh bohtt class hai bhaii aur Hindi bolu toh outdated? "

I was surprised and disappointed  to see these questions coming from a set of our younger generation.

Why am I writing in English ?

I definitely learnt a very important lesson and got reminded of importance of my mother tongue which was drifting away from and not just me but people in my surrounding too felt the same way. But, does this realisation mean to throw everything related to this foreign language aside? Ofcourse not, this means to not let our mother tongue drift away from us. This means to not let our mind fool us that one language is superior over others. This means to recall once again loud and clear, HINDI HAIN HUM WATAN HAI HINDUSTAN HAMAARA , SAARE JAHAN SE ACHCHA HINDUSTAN HAMARA

Dear reader, hope you enjoyed reading. Our motherland is a very prestigious place and to uphold its sanctity we need to make some efforts. This blog is just an effort to that. Share if you feel necessity, feedbacks are most welcoming in the comment section.

Think You Know Java? These 5 Questions Say Otherwise

Hello everyone! Hope you’re sipping your coffee just right—because I’ve brewed something equally strong for your brain. Welcome to a blog that dives into 5 deceptively tricky Java interview questions —the kind that test not just what you know, but how well you understand Java under the hood. If you, like me, share a love-hate relationship with this language, this blog might just hit home. So, let's get started... Question 1: What will be the output of the following code? Why? class Parent { static void staticMethod() { System.out.println("Static method in Parent"); } private void privateMethod() { System.out.println("Private method in Parent"); } void show() { staticMethod(); privateMethod(); } } class Child extends Parent { static void staticMethod() { System.out.println("Static method in Child"); } private void privateMethod() { System.out.println("Pr...

Are we happy enough?

Hey Mitra! how's everything? What was that hilarious thing that made you laugh absurdly today? Who was the person who filled your day with all the love in the world just by a small act of kindness? Let me reverse the question how many lives did you fill with positivity or humbleness today ? If the answer is none, then this blog may have something to add  to your life. Let me share with you an interesting event that just took place. Two children were playing a game which they called "How many". Rules were simple, one had to ask the questions by adding "how many" like, " how many planets are there in our solar system ?" Another had to answer. The game was quite interesting  and suddenly a question appeared "how many muscles does it take to smile?" The child seeking the answer smiled curiously and tried to locate all the muscles involved in smiling right then at the moment and his friend helped him too in a manner like," ohh look, there...

The Lost Childhood

The lost childhood Hello everybody...Our lives have been quite clumsy, unusual and tiring but but but do you remember the time when our only tension was the pending homework?! Ofc you do remember...why not take a dive into what special we had back then TV shows Netflix and all is cool but do you remember when all you needed was Shaka laka BOOM BOOM pencil or Ben 10 Omnitrix. When you waited for whole week just for that one hour episode of M.A.D. When you internally wept when Ishan from Tare Zameen Par was sent to hostel and jumped out of joy when Aamir Khan entered singing Bam Bam Bole! Life right then was so simple ugh? Ohh did I not mention about Shinchan, Doraemon, Noddy, DBZ and on and on. I guess list wouldn't end any soon. Sharat! Uff. The Games we played You may have played PUBG, COD, Free Fire or Among Us in recent times right? But what about playing Pakdam Pakdai with your paltan Or Barafpani? Or just gathering together and playing Marbles and that game with one leg up (te...
